When the KPR project originally launched there were two primary factions presented: Prisma and Animus. Since then an additional four factions (Hyades, Hellfire Adepts, Holy Rollers, Wanderers) have been added as part of Sector 3 of the citizenship system and the release of the KPR Narrative Ruleset.
