The corporation operates with near-sovereign power, leveraging its resources to influence regional governments and control vast swathes of New Eden’s infrastructure.
KPCO is the primary distributor of Kai-energy throughout New Eden, being tasked with the responsibility for overseeing the resources that emerge from the Keep. Because of its access to Kai-energy and involvement in large infrastructure projects throughout the safe zone, it has also become a defacto security apparatus in many areas — a fact that is not without controversy, given its history and role as a private corporation.
