Overview
The first of three RPG-related product lines that are planned for release, the KPR Narrative Ruleset is a tabletop roleplaying system designed for group-based narrative scenarios in a similar fashion to popular roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Shadowrun and Call of Cthulhu.
There’s a timeless magic to tabletop roleplaying games. Their enduring appeal has led to franchises that span generations and we’re bringing this spirit of collaborative storytelling into New Eden. The scenarios that have already gone live on the KPR Discord have allowed groups of Keepers to explore its streets, uncover hidden alcoves and add their own characters to its evolving history.
With the ‘build in public’ alpha release of the KPR Narrative Ruleset, we’ve begun crafting official scenarios that actively shape our world.
This RPG system is designed for accessibility, welcoming both holders and non-holders alike. But it also has a Web3 twist: our official campaigns are exclusive to Keepers, whose unique Perk abilities are tied to the traits of their NFTs, creating a gameplay experience that honours our genesis collection and celebrates the players that hold them.

Character Classes
The KPR Narrative Ruleset introduced an initial set of six character classes, that players could choose to represent the abilities and skills of their Keeper. These six classes are as follows:
- Cypher - masters of the underworld that know how to navigate their way around the darker corridors of New Eden, whether digitally or physically. They excel in deception, technical innovation and gaining access to places other citizens can’t.
- Magus - Adepts of the arcane arts that understand how reality is constructed and know how to use that to great effect. Understood by few, feared by many, the ability to control the elements and construct new forms through sheer force of will is a rare skill to master.
- Mesmer - Benders of reality and the mind that have attuned themselves to the magnetic forces that all living things emit and are trained in manipulating them to various ends. They can disrupt neural pathways, influence emotions and pick up on subtle energies that give them a unique ability to see the past as well as persuade the present.
- Bladewalker - Seasoned warriors, born and raised in the conflicts that have threatened to tear New Eden apart for generations. They know how to wield kai-infused hand weapons and are always the first to step forward when danger rises above the surface of a fragile tranquility.
- Runner - Keepers you go to when you need something done quickly and quietly. They slip through shadows and jump across rooftops with ease and, if you manage to see one, good luck
catching up to them. Often found in street gangs and as black market couriers, they tend to skirt on the wrong side of the law. Even so, they are usually the ones the authorities contact when
they need a job handled under the table
- Muse - Whether performing in neon-lit clubs or swaying high-powered execs, their allure is unmatched. Often found among artists, corporate agents or social influencers, Muses walk the line between inspiration and manipulation. They bend your emotions to their will and use their talents wherever persuasion might outweigh force.
Each of these classes have unique abilities available to the player during a narrative scenario.
