Overview

Ramen Wars was a major activation released by KPR in February 2024, involving a three-week long webgame event showcasing:

• Award-winning webgame design;
• New locations and characters within Prisma City;
• Prize pools for players including KPR merch and two grand prizes;
• Detailed story-arc presented through visual novel cutscenes.

In total, close to 7,000 unique players took part in the webgame event; with approximately 1,500 players submitting a Final Ramen dish at the end of the gameplay window to enter into the two grand prizes.

Gameplay

A mix of recipe crafting, time management, and mini-game challenges, Ramen Wars combined virtual exploration with real-world rewards.

Gameplay was centred upon a short loop that could be completed regularly, involving:

• Unlocking new locations across Prisma City;
• Dispatching Chibi-Go units to gather ingredients;
• Crafting ramen recipes to finish daily missions;
• Playing the Pamp’s Portal minigame to boost Chibi-Go gathering speed;
• Unlocking over two dozen prize pools through gameplay progression;
• Earning raffle credits to increase chances of winning prizes!
• Submitting a Final Ramen dish recipe to be in the running for the Grand Prizes.
